John Hartmayer is chief operations officer and executive vice president responsible for all community operations, including resident care, programming, culinary, and legal.
Before joining Benchmark in March 2021, John served as senior vice president of operations for the east division of Atria Senior Living, based in Louisville, KY, and was with the company for more than 20 years.

Kris Martel is chief human resources officer and responsible for recruiting, learning and development, benefits and total rewards, organizational development and associate engagement.
Before joining Benchmark as vice president of human resources in October 2021, Kris served as vice president of human resources at Point 32 Health, based in Watertown, MA, and was with the company for 26 years.
