Veronica Barber

Senior Vice President, Human Capital

Veronica Barber serves as Senior Vice President of Human Capital with Benchmark. She is responsible for developing and executing human capital strategy, in support of the organizational needs and strategic direction. She specifically drives organizational culture, talent management, organizational development, change leadership, and compensation.

Veronica joined Benchmark in 2017. Prior to her current role, she spent many years assisting senior living providers in transforming their organizational cultures. She has served in a variety of roles and responsibilities over the years, including nationwide consulting, VP/COO of a large health system in New York, and functioning as a policy analyst/lobbyist for a senior living trade association.

Veronica has a Bachelor's in Mathematics, Masters in Health Services Management, and Doctorate in Executive Leadership. She is a licensed nursing home administrator, a member of several trade associations, and frequently presents at national conferences. She enjoys traveling, reading, the arts, and spending time with her family.
