Jack Finds Peace at Ridgefield Crossings

April 10, 2018

Our associates give residents the care they’d want for their own parents.

In March 2018, we received a letter at the Benchmark Senior Living home office from one of our residents at Ridgefield Crossings in Ridgefield, Conn. Jack Porvancher wanted us to know why he moved from another community to Ridgefield:

To whom it may concern:

I am a 92-year-old who joined your place about 4 months ago. Prior to being here, I spent 3 years at another facility in Connecticut. The difference between the two places is remarkable. At the first place, the staff in the dining room was indifferent, and had no interest in assisting the residents there. At Ridgefield Crossings, the staff in the dining room is extremely caring and goes out of their way to assist their guests who are, in many instances, requiring help. The remaining staff in medical and personal assistance, go out of their way to make me comfortable. I am very pleased with my accommodations, and while my time frame based on my age may be limited, I have a sense of peace.

Thank you,
Jack Porvancher

We are SO glad Jack chose Ridgefield Crossings. Thanks, Jack!
