Meet Don. After living in multiple senior living communities, Don made Benchmark his home in 2022. He was looking for more than just a place to live — he wanted a place that would support who he is and what he loves.
From the moment he moved in, Benchmark associates partnered with Don to help customize his apartment. They worked with him to create a space that reflected his creative passions, especially his lifelong love of aviation. Associates even helped hang his model airplanes from the ceiling — transforming his apartment into a one-of-a-kind personal hangar.
This isn't like any other apartment,it's a workshop. But it's me.
Don’s apartment is more than just a place to sleep. It’s a fully functional workshop where he continues to build model airplanes and dive into his hobbies. Every corner of the space tells a story, and no other apartment in the building looks quite like his.
I couldn't do it without them.The staff at Benchmark here is kind. Unbelievably so.
Outside his apartment, Don has embraced life at Benchmark. He enjoys poker nights, nutritious meals 3 times a day, and plenty of laughter with old and new friends.
