Benchmark, a human connection company and leading provider of senior living services in the Northeast, today announced that Jean Fiorillo has received the Benchmark Unsung Hero Award for 2018.

At Benchmark’s 17th Annual Awards Gala held on March 28, 2019, Fiorillo was described as the heartbeat of Benchmark’s home office. She was selected out of all of the company’s 200 home-office associates for always having a can-do attitude, anticipating the needs of others and going out of her way to elevate human connection with fellow associates and visitors, often in behind-the-scenes ways.

An office concierge at Benchmark for almost three years, Fiorillo’s career has been spent working in customer service, whether it be in retail or real estate or owning her own promotional products company. Her love of helping people has earned her four previous employee of the month awards. She lives in Belmont with her husband and has twin sons.

“I am so grateful for the work Jean does every single day to elevate human connection,” says Tom Grape, founder, chairman and CEO of Benchmark. “Our annual awards gala is the highlight of my year because it’s an opportunity for all of us to come together to celebrate our communities and associates who sincerely live our company mission, vision and values. This year’s award winners are truly exemplary, and I could not be prouder of all we have accomplished together.”
