FINANCIAL BENEFITS FOR VETERANS

Benchmark has deep appreciation for the Veterans who have served our country, and is committed to helping them get the financial benefits they deserve.

If you are a wartime veteran, veteran’s spouse or widow, you may qualify for the Aid and Attendance Benefit, which allows for up to $25,000 to offset the cost of senior living. However, enrollment can be difficult to navigate and may take months without the right guidance. We can point you in the right direction of accredited agents who can work with the VA and help Veterans and their families get the benefits they are entitled to.

HOW TO QUALIFY
To qualify, the veteran must have served on active duty at least one day during a period of war.

In addition, a sufficient level of medical need must be determined and there are income and other qualifiers. A VA-accredited agent will be happy to walk you through the qualification process and create the best scenario for you or a loved one to receive the full benefit.

*For non-Benchmark residents who begin the VA benefits process and choose not to move into a Benchmark community, in accordance with VA guidelines, a pre-filing consultation fee by our third-party provider will apply.
