Benchmark Awards
Since our inception, Benchmark communities have earned more than 500 national, regional, state and local awards. Our associates, the compassionate care they provide, community programs, dining experiences and overall quality have repeatedly been recognized as the best. Our residents, their families, the greater communities we serve and our industry have continually selected our senior living communities over others.

A renovation of The Falls at Cordingly Dam, an assisted living and Mind & Memory Care community, won the community a 2022 Senior Housing News (SHN) Architecture & Design Award for Best Building Renovation. The SHN Architecture & Design award is a global competition recognized as one of the nation’s most prestigious industry awards. The Falls’ renovation project imparted fresh aesthetics and new lighting throughout, additional common spaces indoors and out designed to maximize the community’s stunning Charles River views and an upgraded HVAC system to maximize fresh air intake.

In 2024, the national senior living association, Argentum, recognized us as the highest corporate donor, and we secured the most individual donors in 2019 and 2018 for senior living industry advocacy and lobbying.
