Denise McQuaide

President & COO of Wellness Management

Denise McQuaide serves as president and COO of Benchmark Wellness Management, which has a specific focus on health and wellness. Denise has significant expertise in all aspects of post-acute care, long-term care and senior living. 

Prior to joining Benchmark in 2019, Denise was vice president of post-acute care for Mount Auburn Hospital in Cambridge, Mass., and also led the development of a continuing care strategic plan for Beth Israel Lahey Health, a new 13-hospital health care network in Massachusetts.

Earlier in her career, Denise was vice president of hospital services at ADS, developing and managing over 30 hospital-based skilled nursing facilities (SNFs) and rehab units. When ADS was acquired by Genesis HealthCare, she became senior vice president of operations for New England, where she oversaw an additional 60 SNFs and five assisted living communities. She served as COO of Hebrew Senior Life from 2002 to 2007 and became president of Brickstone Senior Living for the next four years. 

In 2012, Denise took on a temporary assignment as CEO of Parmenter Home Care & Hospice, which she merged into Mount Auburn’s home care agency to form CareGroup Parmenter Home Care & Hospice. 

Denise earned both a Bachelor of Science and Master of Science in nursing from the University of Massachusetts Lowell. The parents of two grown sons, Denise and her husband and live in Chelmsford, Mass.
