The company is one of only 34 employers in Rhode Island to receive the award this year, having earned the recognition for the second straight year.

There are five categories of winners based on company size. Companies are awarded based on responses to questions about program components, company culture and leadership, strategic planning, engagement and effectiveness, analytics and more.
Benchmark operates three assisted living and memory care communities in Rhode Island: Capitol Ridge at Providence, Greenwich Farms at Warwick and Blenheim-Newport.
