Executive Director Joann Ryan has over 25 years of experience in the senior living industry. Throughout her career, she has held a variety of leadership and operational roles, gaining a deep understanding of what it takes to create exceptional experiences for residents, families, and associates. Her dedication to serving older adults and fostering meaningful connections continues to inspire her work every day.

What Brought You to Benchmark:

My journey into senior living happened somewhat by accident when I followed a great leader and mentor into the industry. I quickly fell in love with the opportunity to make a difference in people's lives and have never looked back. Benchmark's people-first mentality, along with its mission, vision, and values, aligns perfectly with my own.

Fun Fact:

When I'm not at work, I enjoy maintaining my lawn on my zero-turn mower—it's one of my favorite ways to relax and unwind. I also love spending as much time as possible with my grandbaby and creating special memories together.
