Meet Your Executive Director:

Maria Barbosa-Santos has spent her entire 25+ year career advocating for and working with older adults. Previously, she was on the senior leadership teams of two well-known assisted living communities in the Boston area.

Benchmark gives me the tools to make valuable human connections possible and create the most rewarding living environment for my residents.

Fun Fact:

I’m originally from Cape Verde but have been a Boston girl since coming here as a kid! I went to high school in South Boston, college in Newton and have worked in the area ever since.
